Peach-Ginger Smoothie (Day 2 of 6)
After yesterday’s rich and creamy Chocolate Avocado Smoothie, today’s Peach-Ginger Smoothie is light and breezy…especially right now while peaches are in such abundance! We tried making this with fresh grated ginger, which gave it an incredible kick; however, we didn’t care for the ginger “strings” that grated ginger left behind. Instead, we liked the smooth punch packed in powdered ginger instead.
This smoothie is GREAT for a quick breakfast and energy boost! Try this if you don’t want the caffeine crash, but need a pick me up after a late night.

- 2 cups frozen sliced peaches or 2 large fresh peaches
- 1 1/2 cups half and half
- 1/3 cup Dixie Crystals extra fine granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger.
Add the half and half to the blender first, then add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Once smooth, pour into your glass, top with fresh peaches and dash of cinnamon.
